The Doctors
Jonathan R. Barry
D.M.D.
Dr. Barry, born and raised in Avon and an alum of Saint Ignatius High School, has had an interest in dentistry since childhood. After completing his Bachelor of Biology at the University of Kentucky, he went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from his alma mater. He loves the variability of dentistry and the engineering, art, and science involved with being a successful dentist.
Dr. Barry wants to ensure that his patients have a comfortable experience. He uses his skill, knowledge, and compassion to provide the ideal dental visit. Dr. Barry has a passion for learning and enjoys continuing education. He is an alumnus of the Implant Pathway education course and is currently enrolled in the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education. He values continued learning so he can provide the best quality care to his patients while forming long lasting relationships.
In his free time Dr. Barry enjoys traveling with his fiancee, Fatima. Together they love to try new restaurants, host dinner parties at their home, and attend live concerts. Dr. Barry is also a big Cleveland Sports fan, UK basketball fan, and avid golfer.
Stephen D. Cooke
D.D.S.
Dr. Cooke graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Professional Studies. He entered the School of Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University the following fall and was awarded a US Navy Dental Scholarship. Following Graduation, he served three years as a Lieutenant in the United States Dental Corp in Norfolk, Virginia and aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, CVN 69.
Dr. Cooke returned to Cleveland in 1978 and began his private practice. He was granted a faculty position at the School of Dentistry at Case where he taught from 1978 until 1985. He is married to Debbie, his wife of 44 years, and has two children; Ben and his wife Amanda, who reside in Avon Lake, and Lindsey and her husband Andrew, who live in Bay Village.
Dr. Cooke is an active alumnus in the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education, having completed its postgraduate curriculum in 1994. He serves as “mentor” in the Institute's program for young dentists. He is a member of the Pankey Institute’s Class One Triple Plus Club.
